Royal Visits

Royal Visit requests come through the Lord-Lieutenant and his office.

If you are holding a special event, you can request a visit from a member of the Royal Family to celebrate the occasion. This might be if:

  • your organisation has a special anniversary
  • you have just completed a new building; or
  • you feel what you are doing is something special for the community

Different royal households take bids for Royal Visits at different times of the year. Some have a rolling programme; others have fixed periods when you can make a request.
