The Royal Family’s Charitable Funds
Many members of The Royal Family have their own Charitable Funds, which do good works for a wide variety of excellent causes. On occasions Lord-Lieutenants and their Deputies are asked to assist these charities to disseminate information and publicise events, within their counties.

Help for local business and local voluntary groups through Business in the Community
‘The Business Connector programme being part of Business in the Community (BITC) is one of the Prince of Wales’ charities, and is designed to deliver the expertise and skills to understand social challenges where it is needed most – at the heart of communities. The programme is funded by Big Lottery and BITC member organisations who second experienced employees, often senior management, for typically a 12 month term. Ian Noble, seconded from Lloyds Banking Group, was appointed Business Connector for Hastings in January 2013 and in a few short weeks has been able to introduce SME businesses, offering pro-bono support to third sector community groups. Longer term projects include work to improve employability skills and networking opportunities for local charities. Ian can be contacted at email@example.com . Further information about the Business Connector programme can be found on the BITC website Click Here
